Ritual: A Personal Comic
I decided to do this comic as I was driving home one night and thinking about how much I like getting home to take part in my daughters little ritual. It’s been a helpful exercise in improving my comic making skills and hopefully my little girl will enjoy it in the future.

Draw Hammer Horror
Ok, so here it is. The final #draw project (from me anyway). I’m about to get really busy, so this will be the last one of these from me.

Draw Hellboy
After the success of #drawbatman people were asking me to organise another draw hashtag.
I settled on Hellboy simply because I feel he’s a character that can be interpreted a lot of different ways.

So last year I had to go to hospital for an operation around this time. After I came out I used my recovery time to do a a short comic based on Christmas Carol which I was hoping to put together to use instead of a Christmas Cards.

Finished Portrait & other work
I finally finished the portrait this weekend. Pretty happy with it, it’s been a long time since done any drawing like this. I think I’m going to try and do one of my daughter as well.
I also did a bit more work on the fairy tale book I’m making for my daughter, here’s a WIP.

Ok so I made some more roughs today.
Starting to get near to where I want. I may have to loose the glasses though (client choice) which is shame as I like them.

Someone at work asked me to do a portrait of their other half and a friend of his.
This is my rought from tonights drawing.
I messed up the lips and parts of the hair will be in solid black, but I’m fairly happy with it.
Been a long time since I did any drawing like this, need to practice.

Birthday Card
I’ve drawn a few birthday cards recently using a panel based layout and the results have been pretty good. I’m really enjoying coming up with the little stories and it’s helping me with my comic storytelling.
Here’s the one I made for my Grandfather, although I’ve since found out that his birthday isn’t this month, so I may do another one.
